San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s investigators have identified the suspicious package that forced the evacuation of San Luis Obispo Regional Airport late Sunday night. They say the devices were inert practice mortars and there was no threat to the public. Officials think someone realized they couldn’t take them on their flight and simply ditched them in the men’s restroom.
