The Kristin Smart murder trial will move to Monterey County. That’s the word from the San Luis Obispo County Superior Court. The judge made the announcement yesterday morning. Paul Flores and his father Ruben are accused of the 1996 death and disappearance of Cal Poly student Kristin Smart. Paul Flores has been charged with murder. His father Ruben is accused of being an accessory after the fact. San Luis Obispo County will cover the costs of the trial.
