Santa Maria City Rangers have continued efforts to cut down on crime in and around the parking structure at the Town Center Mall. You may remember a 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in February at the parking structure. A 27-year-old woman also suffered injuries in the incident. City Park Rangers continue to patrol the structure day and night. Meantime, City of Santa Maria officials continue to look into the possibility of installing surveillance cameras to help make the mall safer.
