Two million dollars in federal funding will help keep the Anderson Hotel in San Luis Obispo an affordable sanctuary for vulnerable seniors and disabled adults. That’s the word from Congressman Salud Carbajal’s office. The funding will be granted to the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo. It will also help upgrade the historic building in the way of seismic retrofitting. For the past 40 years, the Anderson Hotel has been home to vulnerable residents on fixed incomes.
