But Dozens of environmental and anti-nuclear groups say the plant is too old, unsafe, and too close to earthquake faults. Meanwhile, Clean energy supporters claim it is California’s single largest source of carbon-free electricity. PG&E officials say they will continue with their decommissioning plans for 2025.
