Traffic Stop Reveals 500,000 Doses Of Fentanyl

A traffic stop in Nipomo took roughly half a million doses of fentanyl off the streets. According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s office, their Gang Task Force was keeping tabs on 31-year-old Julian Ackerman of Coalinga on April 22nd. Deputies pulled Ackerman over on the northbound 101. While the deputy questioned him, his passenger, 20-year-old Zoe Rutledge fled in the car. Both suspects were eventually detained. The fentanyl was found during a search of the vehicle. Both suspects are currently awaiting trial.
