Three officers involved in the shooting death of a Bakersfield man will not face charges. That’s the word from the San Luis Obispo County D.A.’s Office. investigators say 42-year-old Scott Huffman fired several times into a gas station on Tefft Street in Nipomo on August 21, 2020. He also fired several times into traffic before officers arrived. The post-incident investigation included 280 pieces of evidence and 75 interviews. A review found no criminal culpability on the part of the officers involved.
