Lompoc City Fire Chief Alicia Welch was arrested in San Luis Obispo County over the weekend. According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, Welch was arrested in Cambria on suspicion of domestic abuse. City officials would only say that she had been placed on administrative leave due to ongoing investigations. She’s due in court on June 14th.
