The cost of celebrating the Fourth of July is going up… A new American Farm Bureau Federation survey found the average cost of a cookout is up 17 percent from last year. Prices of ground beef, chicken breasts, pork chops, pork and beans, and even lemonade have seen significant increases. The survey found ground beef increased by 36 percent, 33 percent for chicken breasts. And the cost of fresh squeezed lemonade is up 22 percent from last year. Most Americans say they plan to spend less on July 4 celebrations this year.
