This week’s California DOJ data breach may have exposed the personal information of as many as 770 San Luis Obispo County residents. According to the Tribune, the breach contained the names, birth dates, gender, race, driver’s license numbers, addresses, and criminal histories of residents. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tony Cipolla says the Sheriff’s Office is waiting for numbers from the state DOJ to see how many SLO County residents may have been exposed. The DOJ says the data was available for less than 24 hours.
