Santa Maria police arrested a man they believe was involved in a deadly shooting Saturday night. The shooting happened in front of Louie B’s bar on East Main Street. When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He would be pronounced dead at an area hospital. They also noticed a man sitting on the sidewalk just a short distance from the victim. 27-year-old Ron Tutay was arrested on drug charges. Further investigation led to his arrest and a charge of murder.
