CHP investigators believe the driver involved in a fatal crash on Monday may have committed suicide. According to the Tribune, a Cal Fire arson investigator attempted a traffic stop in Monterey County. That led to a pursuit into San Luis Obispo County. As CHP officers were getting ready to take over the pursuit in San Miguel, the SUV crashed for no reason, killing the driver. The investigation continues.
