Central Coast health officials are preparing for the Monkeypox virus. One San Luis Obispo County official feels that it’s only a matter of time. Monkeypox can be treated with a vaccine, but according to KEYT, San Luis Obispo County has only received 20 doses. Monkeypox is passed through close personal contact.
