Cal Fire crews are working on a vegetation fire this morning. According to KSBY, The fire broke out sometime late last night. Fire officials received word from California State Parks Department at midnight regarding smoke coming from the brush between the dunes and the Arroyo Grande Creek. When crews arrived they found roughly a quarter of an acre of brush involved in flames. Officials described the burning brush as “heavy fuels”. No structures are currently being threatened. No word on containment. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
