Kids who attend Miller Elementary School in Santa Maria will have a fresh playground this morning. Volunteers with Serve Santa Maria donated their Saturday to paint the school’s entire playground. The Serve Santa Maria volunteers also helped elderly residents at the La Maria Mobile Home Park with various handy work projects and painted a U.S. map at the Santa Maria YMCA Playground. Two other projects happened at the Santa Maria Bridge and Centennial Park.
