A vehicle fire has left one person dead near Santa Margarita. Cal Fire officials say crews responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Blue Road, off of Highway 58, just after 8:30 last night. When they arrived, they found a vehicle and nearby vegetation on fire. The single occupant of the vehicle had died. Investigations into the person’s death and cause of the fire are underway.
