San Luis Obispo’s largest volunteer program was held over the weekend. ECOSLO’s Creeks to Coast Cleanup was held Saturday. Volunteers were able to gather hundreds of pounds of trash from the San Luis Creek area before it could make its way to the ocean. The annual Creeks to Coast Cleanup coincided with the 38th California Coastal Cleanup Day which brings awareness to a growing marine litter problem.
