The man who caused a fatal crash on Highway 154 in 2019 was sentenced yesterday. John Dungan was convicted of three counts of second-degree murder in August. Prosecutors say he was driving at 119 miles an hour into oncoming traffic when he crashed into Vanessa Bley’s Chevy Volt. Bley and her two children died on impact. According to the Santa Barbara County D.A.’s Office, Dungan was sentenced to three consecutive 15 to life terms in prison.
