San Luis Obispo County is going to receive 5.6 million dollars in federal funding. The money will be used to improve first responders’ communications systems. According to Congressman Salud Carbajal, the grant will be allocated to five projects, that will help fire and law enforcement agencies communicate with each other more effectively with new equipment and communications towers.
