Texas-based Firefly Aerospace will attempt to get a payload into space again tonight. The launch is scheduled for just after midnight from Vandenberg Space Force Base. The company’s first launch ended with an explosion over the Pacific. Two other attempts were scrubbed due to mechanical and weather problems. If tonight’s launch is successful, it will send multiple satellites to low-earth orbit to collect atmospheric data.
