A Portland man is behind bars after allegedly stealing a vehicle from a Downtown San Luis Obispo Auto Repair shop. Officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 600 block of Marsh Street late Sunday night. They discovered that a window had been broken, and a car had been stolen. Just before 2 a.m. yesterday they responded to a solo vehicle crash at California and Marsh streets. Officers also found 34-year-old Jeffery Lincoln hiding in the front yard of a nearby residence. He was taken into custody with bail set at 20,000 dollars.
