The Arroyo Grande Police Department has received more than 100,000 dollars in state grant funding. Officials say the grant funds will pay for a new electronic crash and citation data reporting system. It will help identify problem areas and provide traffic safety resources where they are needed most. The grant comes from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
