A house fire that broke out in a home in the Tanglewood area of Santa Maria turned deadly yesterday afternoon. Firefighters were called out to Rosales Court shortly after 3:30. Firefighters had the blaze knocked down in about an hour. They searched the home for victims and found one person dead inside the single-story home. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
