Inflation is taking a toll everyone these days. Even on non-profits trying to help those in need. The SLO Food Bank says it’s getting more and more difficult to get nutritious food to residents countywide who are food insecure. According to KSBY, most of the food bank’s funding comes from local donors. But inflation is affecting their ability to donate. With the rising cost of gas to deliver the food along with higher food prices, officials say it’s becoming more difficult to meet the growing needs of the community.
