Morro Bay City officials want to hear from local residents to find out what they are looking for in a future Police Chief. Chief, Jody Cox has announced he would be retiring from the Morro Bay Police Department at the end of the year. To gauge what residents expect from a new police chief, officials are asking residents and Morro Bay Police Department employees to fill out an eight-question online survey to learn what they hope to see in their next police chief.
