An early morning crash sent two people to the hospital yesterday. Authorities say it happened at around 2:30 A.M. along southbound 101, north of Palmer Road near Orcutt. Investigators say the pickup truck rolled and ended up off the highway. A female victim had to be extricated from the vehicle. She suffered critical injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. A male passenger also suffered minor injuries. It’s unclear if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
