Allan Hancock College’s Santa Maria campus was in lockdown for a short time yesterday. Just before noon, Campus police were notified that an attempted murder suspect was in the residential area near the campus. School officials say students and staff were asked to shelter in place out of an abundance of caution. According to KSBY, Santa Maria Police caught their suspect. Campus life returned to normal.
