Thanksgiving holiday travelers using Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner will need to plan ahead. Officials say they will temporarily adjust the Pacific Surfliner services to safely manage an expected increase in travelers around the Thanksgiving holiday. While extra train carsand shuttle buses will be used to increase seat availability, customers are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and book early to guarantee available tickets. The new requirements are effective Wednesday, November 23rd through Monday the 28th.
