The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s Office released another ballot count update. It showed incumbent Bruce Gibson’s lead in the District 2 supervisor race had narrowed over Dr. Bruce Jones. Gibson now has 52.1 percent of the vote. Challenger Dr. Bruce Jones has 47.9 percent. Gibson now holds an advantage of 781 votes with about 27,320 ballots remaining to be counted.
