Santa Maria Police are increasing their DUI Patrols. Starting today, the SMPD will have extra officers looking for drivers who may be driving impaired. The increased patrols are part of a nationwide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. The extra DUI patrols will be on the streets of Santa Maria through New Year’s Day.
