San Luis Obispo police say a 19-year-old is facing felony charges following a two-vehicle pursuit through town over the weekend. They say it began early yesterday morning with reports of a maroon Ford F150 driving recklessly near Higuera. Police eventually caught up with Tyler Stevens, who eluded officers. Police were able to relocate Stevens and attempted to stop him. This time he drove at the officers head-on. Less than an hour later, Cal Poly Police reported a Ford Bronco was traveling at a high rate of speed, the wrong way on Higuera. Stevens was arrested he crashed into a tree and a fire hydrant.
