Cal Fire required an assist from the CHP yesterday afternoon. A mountain biker was injured on a popular north county trail. First responders found the cyclist on the Pozo Summit Trail near Santa Margarita. They called in the CHP helicopter to get the cyclist off the trail, and to a waiting CalStar medical helicopter for transport to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries.
