Bomb Cyclone Leaves Power Outages, Downed Trees And Downed Power Lines

The bomb cyclone that rolled onto the West Coast is now making its way east. Here on the Central Coast, it left behind downed trees, broken tree limbs, several road closures, and power outages from Lake Nacimiento to Orcutt affecting thousands of residents. Governor Gavin Newsom declared a statewide state of emergency before the storm hit the coast and activated the state’s Flood Operations Center for the first time in several years.
