An Atascadero business owner is facing felony sexual assault charges. 34-year-old Nathan Abate, owner of the Cardinal Barbershop in Atascadero, was taken into custody yesterday. In April of last year, a former San Luis Obispo resident posted on social media about her assault. She named Abte and Kin Coffee shop owner Julian Contreras as being involved in the incident. Several other women came forward with similar stories following the post. Authorities are still looking for Contreras. Abate will be arraigned later today.
