Paso Robles Police arrested a suspected burglar yesterday morning. Authorities say 34-year-old Stephen Chargin was sptted entering a home on Apion Court through an open garage door. A woman in the home discovered him leaving a bedroom with a pry bar and a large knife. Chargin fled the home and tried, unsuccessfully, to break into a neighbor’s house. When police arrested him, Chargin was in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and psilocybin mushrooms.
