San Luis Obispo Police responded to a report of a person shooting a handgun inside a home yesterday afternoon. It happened shortly after 2:30 on the 300 block of Margarita Avenue. Officers set up a one-block perimeter. A family member told police that someone inside the house had been drinking and playing with a BB gun. Officers found no evidence of shots from the BB gun being fired, injuries or a crime being committed.
