A 17-year-old with a gun was arrested Friday night in San Luis Obispo. Police say the juvenile first assaulted another teen and stole his cell phone. While he was being treated for his injuries, the victim gave police the suspect’s name and the vehicle he was in at the time of the assault. Officers caught up with the suspect when they answered several calls about shots being fired near Sinsheimer Park. Police found the teen and a 9mm handgun reported stolen in Utah. The teen is now facing several felony and misdemeanor charges.
