Stephen Deflaun was convicted Wednesday of first-degree murder in the deaths of Stephen Wells and 11-year-old Jerry Rios Jr… According to the Tribune, Deflaun entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity in June. The sanity phase of the case began yesterday. The case resumes on Monday.
