Santa Barbara County Fire officials say one person is dead following a solo-vehicle accident. It happened on Highway 166 yesterday morning near Santa Maria. The vehicle was discovered at the bottom of a cliff just before 8:15. The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP has taken over the investigation.
