Los Osos neighbors have pitched in to help to help locals whose home were damaged during the winter storms. Kiwanis Club of Bay Osos hosted a barbecue and raised more than 8,000 dollars. The Diggin’ Deeper fundraiser, organized by Gary Freiberg and Paul Irving, brought in another roughly 45,000 dollars with a benifit concert and silent auction. People Helping People also added more than $14,000 from its reserves. The money will be used to help people affected by flooding. all the money will be delivered by the end of the week.
