A new parking structure in Downtown San Luis Obispo is on the way. After nearly 20-years of planning and debate, work on the new 163,000-square-foot parking structure will begin next week with the demolition of some vacant buildings. Groundbreaking and actual construction will begin in the fall this year. The 52 million dollar project should be completed in 2025.
