Dignity Moves broke ground this week on a housing project aimed at reducing homelessness in Santa Barbara County. Hope Village in Santa Maria will include 94 temporary housing units. The rooms are meant to help youth transitioning out of Foster Care, homeless vets, homeless people going through recovery. The program will also help connect people staying at Hope Village to find permanent housing.
