A major repaving project will affect your commute on Highway 1 beginning this morning. Temporary daytime lane shifts between Pismo Beach and Oceano will be in place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.. Caltrans officials say the temporary changes will help the contractor widen the roadway for new eight-foot shoulders in both directions. The project should be completed by Friday.
