Attorneys for Paul FLores have filed a notice of appeal. Flores was aconvicted of killing Kristin Smart , 26 years after she went missing following an off-campus party. Flores was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. During his trial, his defense attorney moved for mistrial nine times. According to the Tribune, it’s Flores’ 11th attempt to restart legal proceeding in the case. He’s currently being held at North Kern State Prison.
