Cal Fire SLO firefighters made quick work of a vegetation fire near Templeton yesterday afternoon. The fire was first reported at around 3:20 on Burnt Rock Way. Fire crews had the forward progress of the flames halted in less than an hour. Officials say the fire scorched roughly 2.5 acres. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
