Cal Fire SLO will be conducting a control burn later this week. The prescribed burn will happen Thursday and Friday along Thousand Hills Road near Pismo Beach weather permiting. Roughly 170 acres will be burned to reduce potential fire fuels in the area. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the burn will be rescheduled.
