A new state law has changed the renewal process for people with permanent disabled person parking placards. Placards expire on June 30 of this year and will not be automatically renewed as they were in the past. Placard holders that have had their placards for six or more years are now required to provide a signature to renew this year. There is no fee or doctor’s approval required.
