Three Lucia Mar Unified School District elementary schools recently had tough time passing health inspections. Grover Beach, Grover Heights and Shell Beach elementary schools failed their initial health inspections last month. Mostly due to a lack of hot water. Other problems included a lack of proper food safety practices, and hand sanitation. School officials say the employees were retrained and hot water issued were fixed. All three schools passed a re-inspection.
