A Cal Poly student is suing the university and San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department over COVID-19 regulations. In his 54-page civil complaint, Elijah Behringer questions the legitimacy of the COVID-19 pandemic and the right of organizations such as the World Health Organization to dictate state and federal health regulations. According to the Tribune, Behringer is representing himself in the suit. He wants a jury trial in addition to reimbursement for tuition and legal fees. no comments were available from Cal Poly or the Health Department.
