The City of Arroyo Grande will soon be looking for a new City Manager. Whitney McDonald has been A.G.’s City Manager since 2020 and will be stepping down on July 31st. She’s moving into an assistant City Manager position in San Luis Obispo on August 14th. According to a press release, that’s when SLO’s current assistant City Manager, Shelly Stanwyck retires. McDonald will oversee the city’s Community Services Group, including the departments of Public Works, Utilities, Community Development, and Parks and Recreation.
